Organizational Development Intern
Who We Are ...
SourceAmerica is searching for an Organizational Development Intern to work with our Human Resources team. The Organizational Development Intern will provide support to Human Resources related to the Organizational Development team, including support of: staff training content creation, administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) for SourceAmerica Staff, course scheduling, data analysis, customer service, and other duties as assigned.
This is a great opportunity for a learning and development-focused intern to get direct exposure to corporate learning programs, learning management systems, and how to analyze training program utilization to inform on new program creation.
What You Will Do ...
- Become familiar with the administrative and user-facing elements of the current learning management system (LMS).
- Apply principles of instructional design to support content creation and curriculum development for staff training materials in the LMS.
- Shadow the annual staff training assignment process and assist with scheduling mandatory trainings.
- Participate in data analysis processes to include data management, reporting, and evaluations. Data analysis will be done using a combination of tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Copilot (AI).
- Provide technology support in virtual instructor led trainings. SourceAmerica uses Zoom and Microsoft Teams as technology platforms.
- Collaborate with other Human Resources (HR) team members on training content delivery strategies as needed.
Salary Range
The salary for this position falls in a range between $20.00 - $25.00 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.
What You Must Have ...
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Pursuing a degree program at an accredited institution with preference on a degree program in instructional design or organizational development.
- Relevant knowledge of or work experience includes exposure to organizational development, strategic workforce planning, instructional design, and professional development programs.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar products.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure.

Work Environment
Our organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one’s proximity to our offices in the Washington, DC-area.
