CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with recruitment and candidate screening
• Supporting onboarding and new hire processes
• Helping with employee engagement initiatives
• Providing general administrative support to the HR team

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus
