Position: US Analyst

Division: Global Markets Division – Credit Sales

Crédit Agricole CIB offers its clients a large range of products and services in capital markets, investment banking, structured finance and corporate banking. The Bank provides support to clients in large international markets through its network, with a presence in major countries such as Europe, America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

 

Summary:

This role is part of the Americas Investment grade credit and ABS sales desk based in New York. Its primary functions are to ensure all new issue transactions are placed, and appropriate investor client coverage is monitored and maintain. To grow secondary trading relevancy with investor clients for purposes of data sharing with DCM and syndicate members, as well as risk mitigation from our daily market making responsibilities via GMT counterparts.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IG and HY desks in all aspect of daily work flow
  • Back up senior managers and other colleagues across the desk, with a focus on client and trading desk interaction
  • Begin to develop coverage of investor clients covered by the sales team

 

Strategy and Business Planning:

  • Ensure account lists are up to date and reviewed with desk heads on a quarterly basis
  • Collating desk axes for the team and engaging with respective investors under personal purview 
  • Maintain monthly reporting for local management showing investor penetration via volumes, as well as highlighting 
    priority transactions
  • Work to streamline manually intensive tasks asked of the sales team

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of Credit Sales experience
  • Canddiate must eligible to work in the US
  • Candidate must not require Visa Sponsorship now or in the future (including but limited to F1, OPT, CPT)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in STEM, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Engineering, Economy, Banking/Finance, or Quantitative related major;
  • Preferably some experience in Coding, Visual Basic Application, and other programming languages;
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Team player, with strong communication skills, attention to detail;
  • Dynamic team player with excellent integrity
