Podcast Host

Overview
We are looking for a curious, sharp, and articulate Journalism major to lead a new podcast project. You won’t just be a "voice"—you’ll be the editorial engine behind a series of deep-dive interviews with high caliber entrepreneurs, financiers, venture capitalists, and titans of industry. Your goal is to move past the corporate talking points and uncover the raw stories, failures, and breakthroughs that built this business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Prep: Conduct pre-interview research on our founders, the agency’s history, and current industry trends to develop compelling narrative arcs.

  • Interviewing: Host and moderate high-energy, insightful conversations, ensuring the dialogue remains engaging for a professional audience.

  • Scripting: Draft intro/outro scripts and craft "the hook" for each episode.

  • Editorial Direction: Collaborate with our creative team to identify the most "click-worthy" segments and themes from each recording.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the agency’s tone—professional yet edgy—throughout the series.

Qualifications

  • Current Student or Recent Grad: Must be a Journalism major (or related Communications field) with a strong portfolio of interview work.

  • Interviewing Chops: You know how to ask follow-up questions that get people to open up. You value the "why" as much as the "what."

  • Audio Fluency: Comfortable behind a professional microphone and familiar with basic podcasting flow (don’t worry, our tech team handles the heavy lifting).

  • The "Ear": An innate sense of what makes a story interesting to a stranger.

  • Professionalism: Confidence to interview C-suite executives and steer the conversation with authority.
