Gap Year Intern

We are looking for the best of the best! Thyroid-specific board-certified endocrinology practice in Mount Pleasant (Charleston), South Carolina is accepting resumes for:

Students who have already graduated or are graduating in 2026 who are taking a gap year while applying to medical, NP, dental, or PA school.  This is a full-time paid position.

We are hiring 1 gap year intern starting December 2026/January 2027.

This position will allow the candidate to gain valuable medical experience and knowledge while completing a paid clinical internship.  As this is a fast paced office the ideal candidate will have a high GPA, superior work ethic, high energy and an outgoing, friendly personality.  The candidate will learn all aspects of the medical practice, learn front desk and check-in, perform vital signs, learn about phlebotomy/sample processing/and IM injection, assist in procedures, and assist with running a thyroid-specific weight loss program for patients. Must be able to give a one-year commitment.
