Maintenance Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Maintenance Operations Coordinator to support our private aviation fleet in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance logistics, ensuring aircraft readiness, and supporting real-time operational needs across the fleet.
The Maintenance Operations Coordinator acts as the central point of communication between maintenance, dispatch, and scheduling teams—ensuring all maintenance events are properly planned, tracked, and executed with minimal disruption to flight operations.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate logistics for maintenance personnel, including scheduling and dispatching mechanics to field locations for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events
- Schedule and track all maintenance events within Jet Insight (or similar systems)
- Communicate maintenance status updates across dispatch, scheduling, and operations teams
- Ensure alignment between maintenance requirements and flight schedules to minimize downtime
- Monitor aircraft status and proactively flag potential maintenance conflicts
- Support real-time decision-making during operational disruptions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity and aircraft availability
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly across teams
- Experience with Jet Insight or similar scheduling systems preferred
- Familiarity with Slack, Zendesk, or similar communication tools is a plus
- Understanding of Part 135 operations and maintenance workflows preferred
- Aviation, logistics, or operations experience is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautics, or related field preferred
