Nebraska Methodist Application Team Intern
Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an IT intern for our Application Team. In this role you will work with subject matter experts as part of the Information Security Team. Learn and assist with tasks including how to identify and protect assets and test to ensure they are well protected.
Job Duties:
- Assist with research of potential information security threats, industry trends, emerging technologies, and response alternatives.
- Assist with compiling data to assist with recommendations for security improvements and reporting to Senior Management.
- Assist with remediation or mitigation of identified security threats.
- Complete assigned training related to assigned tasks and projects.

Schedule:
- Hours are flexible. Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Work experience preferred.
- Skill using computers and office equipment.
- Skill organizing and prioritizing work.
- Skill with verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of networking, server administration and security tools.
- Ability to adhere to all workplace and safety requirements, regulations, standards, and practices.
