Job title: Language Camp Assistant

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is seeking a student assistant for the Japanese Language and Culture Summer Camp. 

Dates and times:

• Japanese Summer Camp

July 6-10, 2026 (8:30 am - 12:30 pm)

The student assistant will work with the camp leader to work with campers as they practice basic conversational skills and learn about the culture through hands-on activities.

Candidates for the position should have a solid background in the target language and should have an interest in and experience with working with youth.
