Aquatics Coordinator
The Aquatics Coordinator develops and delivers aquatics programming, promotes program activities and its health and wellness benefits, and performs or oversees pool maintenance.
Schedule M-F 7:30 am - 4 pm (flexible based on planned activities), occasional weekend hours

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Designs, promotes, and leads a wide variety of aquatic classes that cater to resident preferences and promote overall health and well-being.
- Develops, communicates, and ensures adherence to pool policies and procedures.
- Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of the pool and pool area including but not limited to care of handrails, HydroWorx screens, water quality, water temperature, locker rooms, etc., in accordance with state and company regulations.
- Maintains and ensures adherence to schedule for the HydroWorx treadmills.
- Supports successful move-ins by providing tours, leading new resident orientation, and educating residents on pool safety and other rules.
- Collaborates with the Therapy department to facilitate resident rehab and care activities.
- Schedules and oversees larger-scale maintenance activities such as cleaning of the pool deck, heating system, pumps, etc., in accordance with state and company regulations.
- Maintains complete and accurate pool and maintenance records as required by state and company regulations and codes.
- Assists other WellLife departments and team members with programs and events across the campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise sciences or related field or equivalent in work experience.
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and AED usage
- Certified Pool Operator or willingness to obtain
- At least one year of similar experience working with older adults
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple generations in a manner that supports independence and dignity and conveys compassion, patience, and inclusion.
