Paraplanner/Associate Advisor

New Bedford, Massachusetts

Clarity Retirement and Wealth is a growing independent advisory firm focused on helping individuals and families gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial future. We are looking for a motivated Paraplanner / Associate Advisor who is ready to play an active role in client relationships and financial planning.

This is not a back office only role. The right person will be involved in client interaction, planning preparation, and ongoing relationship support. This is an excellent growth opportunity for an organized, hard-working and motivated candidate. 

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with advisors to prepare financial plans and recommendations
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing client financial information
  • Utilize eMoney and Morningstar for financial planning and portfolio analysis
  • Participate in client meetings and assist with follow up communication
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding documents, planning updates, and service requests
  • Help prepare planning reports, presentations, and portfolio reviews
  • Attend weekly in person team meetings and collaborate on planning strategies
  • As experience and skills develop, begin taking the lead role in onboarding new client relationships

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients
  • Experience using eMoney and Morningstar 
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Team oriented and willing to participate in regular in person collaboration
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services support or operations role
  • Series 65
  • CFP or in process of completing CFP
  • Bachelor’s degree

Fully In-person role

In person collaboration and team meetings are expected

 

Compensation

  • Base salary (commensurate with experience) $75-$100k
  • Opportunities for annual bonuses
