Student Technician (Education) - The HUB

Job Summary:

Assist students, faculty, and community partners with complex fabrication and prototyping projects, including design decisions with 3D printers, laser cutter, wide-format printer, vinyl cutting machines, sewing/embroidery machine, CNC plasma cutter and electronics equipment

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Monitor Hub usage during opening hours

Help with the teaching of workshops on the use of equipment

Complete promotional projects, as well as projects that have been requested from the Hub

Hub opening hours: 

Weekdays 2pm-9pm

Sat 12-6pm

Required Qualifications:

Education Major or Students seeking a teaching certificate
