Marketing Intern
Location: TeamMates Mentoring Program National Office (Lincoln or Gretna, Nebraska)

Position Summary
TeamMates Mentoring is seeking a motivated, creative Marketing Intern to support marketing and communication efforts. This part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in non-profit marketing, digital content creation, and brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating social media content (graphics, videos, copywriting)
- Draft and schedule social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X)
- Monitor and report on social media and digital engagement metrics
- Support website updates and maintenance (WordPress experience helpful)
- Help write and edit e-newsletters, blog posts, and press releases
- Assist with event promotion materials including flyers, digital ads, and signage
- Collaborate with staff on campaign planning and storytelling projects
- Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Passion for non-profit work
WorkingConditions and Physical Requirements: This part-time position offers a flexible schedule in fast-paced office environment up to 20 hours per week. Physical requirements include the ability to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer. This position requires the ability to engage in repetitive movements and lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.
