The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for Day Camp Counselors for this Summer at Camp Widjiwagan!
Position Type: Seasonal– Summer 2026
Pay: $100/day
Minimum Age to Apply: 18
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM – 5 PM
Are you ready to spend your summer making memories, building friendships, and having a blast outdoors? We’re looking for enthusiastic Day Camp Counselors to join us at the Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center! This position is your chance to create an unforgettable experience for campers.
What You’ll Do:
As a Day Camp Counselor, you’ll guide campers through fun activities, teach new skills, and help foster character development. You’ll ensure everyone’s safety while being a positive role model, all in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You’ll even serve as a bus counselor and participate in camp family programs.
What You Need:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED and Camp Staff Training (we’ll help you get these).
