Brand & Community Engagement Manager

A high-energy, creative role focused on making Stay Cool Climate Control a household name in O'Fallon. This person will lead our local community presence, capture authentic "behind-the-scenes" content from the field, and manage our brand identity across social media and local events. 

Reports to: Owner / General Manager 

What are the Critical Tasks & Responsibilities? 

Community Presence: Represent the company at O'Fallon Chamber events, local networking groups, trade shows, and community festivals. 

Event Coordination: Organize and lead our participation in local parades, community runs, and career fairs to boost brand visibility. 

Content Creation: Conduct "ride-alongs" with technicians to capture real-time photos and videos of jobs in progress; manage the social media calendar (Reels, TikTok, Facebook). 

In-House Creative: Design marketing materials (flyers, door hangers) using Canva and perform basic video editing for company promotions. 

Agency Liaison: Collaborate with our SEO/Web Development partner to ensure digital marketing aligns with local community efforts and events. 

Culture Building: Help coordinate internal company parties and team-building events to maintain a fun, outgoing workplace culture. 

What are the Competencies and Qualifications? 

Required: 

Creative Suite: Proficiency in Canva and mobile video editing tools (e.g., CapCut), Adobe. 

People Skills: Naturally outgoing with the ability to build relationships quickly at networking events. 

Social Media Native: Experience growing brand engagement through video-first content. 

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for both professional networking and fun social captions. 

Reliability: Ability to attend weekend/evening community events and parades as needed. 

Desired: 

Local Network: Existing ties to the O'Fallon or St. Charles County business community. 

HVAC Knowledge: Basic understanding of home services to better explain our value during customer ride-alongs. 

Strategic Planning: Ability to identify which local festivals or events provide the best ROI for the brand.
