Electrical Engineer
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others. Currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team to support the Electric Distribution System for a mid-sized utility company.
• Design, Develop, Support, and Maintain, the Electric Distribution System.
• Troubleshoot and find solutions for system issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Engineer I: ($73,460 - $91,830)
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
Engineer II: ($84,460 - $105,570)
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline; and
- Two years related work experience.
Engineer Sr: ($117,780 - $147,230)
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline; and
- Seven years of progressively responsible experience and understanding in the energy industry utility electric and gas operations, maintenance, design and project management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Level I/II/Sr:
- Prior engineering experience in electric utility.
- An EI (Engineering Intern or EIT (Engineering in Training) Certificate
Level Sr:
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) designation
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
I: Applies basic engineering techniques for entry-level assignments with review and guidance from a higher level
II: Applies standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problems. Moderate guidance and direction provided. Work is normally reviewed from a high level.
Sr: Applies a broad range of engineering skills and techniques, leads projects, and provides direction to lower-level engineers.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to apply engineering principles to the development and design of the electric utility system.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, correspond and interact with staff/management and field personnel.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Moderate travel requirements (25%).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
