Rec Services - Facility Supervisor - CRWC/FE
BASIC FUNCTION
To assist in the day-to-day management of the CRWC and FE for the benefit of the members and the university community. This position requires a mature individual with good communication and leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce facility policies and procedures (accessibility issues, rules of activity, etc.)
- Count facility participants
- Assist in training and supervision of CRWC Facility Attendant and Member Services positions
- Carry out security measures (proper opening and closing duties, accountability for building keys, money handling, etc.)
- Respond to all building emergencies (accidents, injuries, inclement weather, etc.)
- Execute the set-up of activity areas for variety of internal and external groups (includes meeting rooms, volleyball nets, audio/visual, etc.)
- Provide support for special events, as needed
- Ensure outstanding customer service
- Work cooperatively with other areas of the department to achieve established goals
- Promote a safe, clean, functional and marketable facility
- Lead facility tours when needed
- Perform other work as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding customer service skills; competent computer and audio-visual skills
- Ability to interact with diverse groups through a variety of situations
- Mandatory attendance at training meetings
- Ability to use independent judgment when needed
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Work with a high level of autonomy and independence
- Applicants must be a current CRWC Services Attendant
WORK HOURS
- Must be able to accommodate a variable work schedule that may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and breaks (work two of the three breaks). Weekends include working at least two football games per season
