One of the most exciting positions available this summer is the Remote Social Media Intern. As a member of the Up High team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content and managing social media channels to promote our clients. This is a unique chance to work on some of the most popular and acclaimed comedians, and to be part of a dynamic and passionate team that's dedicated to bringing great entertainment to audiences worldwide.

Responsibilities

As the Up High Social Media Intern, you'll be expected to:

• Create and curate content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
• Write and edit captions, and other copy to accompany posts.
• Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns to promote new and existing specials, tours, podcasts and more.
• Monitor and report on social media analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Up High to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies and brand messaging.
• Complete mock projects to help in learning all aspects of social media management.

To be considered for the Up High Social Media Intern position, you should:

• Be a current college student or recent graduate (within the past six months) pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Have a passion for social media and a strong understanding of current trends and best practices.
• Possess excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Have experience using social media platforms for personal or professional purposes.
• Be willing to work remotely, with in person opportunities in Boston, Chicago and LA.
• Please list your favorite comedian at the very top of your cover letter.

Experience

While prior professional experience in social media is not required for this position, relevant coursework or personal projects demonstrating your skills and passion for the field are highly valued.

Skills

In addition to strong writing and communication skills, the ideal candidate for the Social Media Intern role should possess:

• Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
• Basic design and video editing skills, including an understanding of graphic design principles and experience using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• A creative and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to brainstorm and experiment with new ideas.
• An ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
• An interest in and knowledge of the entertainment industry, specifically streaming television and original programming.
• Be available a minimum of 4 hours for 4 days a week throughout the internship (May 2026 (or sooner) - September 2026)
