Position Title: WHWS Student Producer

Semester/Year: Spring 2026

Total Positions Available: 6

Supervisor: Kelly Walker

Pay rate: $16 per hour 

Hours per wk: up to 20 hrs

Start Date: Immediately 

End Date: 5/15/2026

Job Responsibilities

• Train and work with WHWS General Manager 
• Learn and utilize audio and video broadcast equipment and software 
• Learn and utilize audio and video production equipment and software 
• Produce on-air audio content as requested and as needed  
• Produce digital audio / video content as requested and needed features as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fundamental computer skills 
• Dependable and punctual 
• Well-organized 
• Possess extremely strong communication skills and be willing to take initiative 
• Positive, helpful, resourceful, flexible, and adaptable 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
