Position Title: Digital Marketing & Video Content Intern

Location: Part time Onsite in Lawrenceville, NJ, or 30 minutes within the surrounding area. You may be requested to travel with the CEO
Hours: 10 hours per week to start (onsite every Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am-3 pm in Lawrenceville, NJ)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable, execution-focused Digital Marketing & Video Content Intern to support a growing human resources consulting and leadership development firm.
This is not a passive internship. This role is ideal for someone who can create, edit, and distribute content that drives visibility, engagement, and ultimately revenue.
You will work directly with a CEO, speaker, and subject matter expert to transform real-time business insights, workshops, and speaking engagements into high-quality digital content.
Key Responsibilities
Video Content Creation & Editing (Primary Focus)
- Edit short-form videos (30–90 seconds) from speaking engagements, workshops, and recorded content
- Add captions, branding, and clean transitions for professional delivery
- Identify strong clips (“key moments”) that position thought leadership
- Prepare content for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram
Content Creation & Repurposing
- Convert one piece of content into multiple formats:
- Social media posts
- Short-form video clips
- Quote graphics
- Support development of thought leadership content aligned with:
- Leadership
- Workforce strategy
- Business growth
Graphic Design & Branding
- Create clean, professional graphics using brand standards
- Design:
- Social media visuals
- Speaker/event graphics
- Simple PDFs or lead magnets
Content Scheduling & Distribution
- Schedule and manage content across platforms
- Maintain a structured weekly content calendar
- Ensure consistency in posting and messaging
Marketing & Lead Support
- Assist with basic email marketing campaigns
- Support lead capture efforts (landing pages, forms, etc.)
- Organize and track engagement from events and online platforms
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor content performance
- Provide weekly insights on:
- Engagement
- Visibility
- Content effectiveness
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Experience editing video using tools such as:
- OpusClips, CapCut, Descript, or similar
- Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
Equipment Requirement (IMPORTANT)
Candidates must have access to their own video editing equipment, including:
- Laptop capable of video editing
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to work with large video files
Preferred (but not required):
- Access to or experience using:
- Ring light
- Tripod
- Smartphone
- Mic
- camera for content capture
Experience
- Demonstrated experience creating content (portfolio required)
- Experience managing or contributing to a social media account (personal or business)
- Basic understanding of content performance (what works and why)
