Job Description: Data Science Intern

Position: Data Science Intern

Location: New Jersey

Job Type: Internship (Part-Time 20 hrs/week)

Duration: 10 weeks [June 2026-August 2026]

As a Data Science Intern, you will work with real business data to analyze trends, build models, and support data-driven decision-making. This role offers hands-on exposure to practical data science workflows in a collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis
  • Support development and evaluation of machine learning models
  • Create visualizations and summaries to communicate insights
  • Work closely with data and AI teams on ongoing projects
  • Document analysis, results, and learnings


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Python and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data modeling
  • Exposure to SQL or data visualization tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
