Math Teacher (Middle School & High School)

San Francisco Christian School is currently seeking a passionate and mission-aligned Mathematics Teacher to serve our middle school and high school students in a Christ-centered academic environment. We are looking for an educator who can confidently teach the full range of math courses from 7th Grade Math through High School Calculus. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, spiritual discipleship, and the integration of Biblical truth in every lesson.

This is a unique opportunity to shape minds and hearts by engaging students in critical thinking while grounding instruction in the Word of God. A subject-specific math credential is strongly preferred.

Full-Time | $54,500 – $56,000 (Base Salary, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and academic expertise)

Responsibilities:

·       Teach a range of middle school and high school mathematics courses (Grades 7–12), including but not limited to Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

·       Integrate Biblical truth and a Gospel-centered worldview into math instruction and classroom culture.

·       Create a nurturing and disciplined environment where students grow academically and spiritually.

·       Use assessments, assignments, and projects to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.

·       Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents to support holistic student development.

·       Support the mission of SFCS through participation in chapels, events, and ongoing spiritual formation.

·       Supervise students during school hours as assigned (recess, chapel, lunch, etc.).

·       Attend and contribute to faculty meetings, staff development, and campus events.

·       Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and academic progress.

·       Be willing to teach other subjects or take on additional responsibilities as needed by the administration.

Qualifications:

·       A clear profession of faith in Jesus Christ and an active, growing relationship with Him.

·       Commitment to the mission of Christian education and ability to teach from a Biblical worldview.

·       Regular church attendance and a Christ-honoring personal testimony.

·       Bachelor’s degree required (Mathematics or related field preferred)

·       Prior teaching experience in secondary mathematics is preferred.

·       Strong classroom management, communication, and differentiation skills.

·       A heart for discipleship and a passion to equip students to impact the world for Christ.
