Sales Operations Intern

Summary: As a Sales Operations Summer Intern – Forecasting & AI Insights, you will support high-impact forecasting and analytics initiatives by analyzing sales data and applying AI-enabled tools to improve visibility and decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and an interest in leveraging technologies such as Excel, BI tools, and generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to drive business insights. You will work cross-functionally to develop scalable reporting solutions, automate workflows, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales forecast data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop insights and recommendations to support Sales Operations decision-making
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes
  • Support forecasting processes by incorporating historical data and improving data visibility
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and executive leadership

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field (Junior, Senior, or Graduate level)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Proficiency in Excel required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools preferred
  • Exposure to or interest in AI tools, data automation, or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to manage an independent, open-ended project in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail

Disclaimer: The compensation for this role is $17.75 per hour. This is the amount that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position to be performed in California.
