What CHOMP Is
Everyone has two opinions: the one they post and the one they actually hold. CHOMP makes the gap between those two things visible; and it hits different every time.
You answer a question honestly. You predict what everyone else secretly thinks. Then the reveal drops: real data showing the distance between performance and truth. It's the moment you screenshot and fire into the group chat with "I TOLD YOU."
We're not building another feed. We're building the context engine for how people actually think - powered by a bunch of math that surfaces what crowds know but won't say out loud.
Our people are culture-forward 22–35-year-olds who already run the highest-velocity conversations online. CHOMP doesn't ask them to change a single behavior. It weaponizes what they already do: debate, share, and be the one who knew first.
The Role
You're not a marketing hire. You're the reason people feel something when they encounter CHOMP.
You'll own everything pertaining to social - brand voice, content, community, and cultural partnerships. You'll be helping bring the brand to life and figure out what exactly it is, in real time.
Part cultural antenna. Part creative director. Part person-on-the-street with a mic. You set the tone for how CHOMP shows up everywhere and make sure it always sounds like us — even when "us" is still being invented.
What You'll Actually Do
Own the voice. Every word CHOMP says on socials, and how that brings out our brand personality - that's you. You're the last line of defense between CHOMP and sounding like every other app.
Build the content machine. TikTok, Reels, whatever platform matters next Tuesday. You'll be on camera and behind it — street interviews, reveal clips, reaction content, and formats that don't have names yet because you're inventing them. You know what's going to hit before the algorithm does.
Grow the identity. Not "community management." Identity building. The first thousand people who feel like they discovered CHOMP before everyone else - and won't shut up about it. That's your doing.
Work directly with partners and the executive team. Creators, tastemakers, cultural voices who get the CHOMP worldview. You find them, build the relationship, and design activations that feel like they happened organically - because the best ones do.
Spot the moment. You're the team's nerve ending for internet culture. You flag what matters, you kill what doesn't, and you translate the chaos of the timeline into campaigns that land.
Who You Are
- You've built something from nothing - a social account, a community, a brand presence - and you didn't wait for permission or a playbook to do it.
- You have taste. Not "I like aesthetics" taste. "I can tell you why this specific TikTok got 4M views and that one died" taste.
- You write with a voice that people actually want to read. Witty caption to brand manifesto, same thread, no drop-off.
- You're extremely online but you know the difference between being in the culture and being consumed by it.
- You care about the why behind trends. CHOMP is built on the tension between what people say publicly and what they believe privately. That gap should fascinate you - not just professionally, but personally.
- You're comfortable being the face. On camera, on the street, in the comments. If that makes you nervous, this isn't the role. If it makes you excited, keep reading.
- Scrappy, self-directed, allergic to waiting for approval. Seed stage means the org chart is vibes-based and the runway is finite. You move accordingly.
Nice to Haves
- A portfolio of things you've built that you'd actually show someone unprompted.
- Creator economy fluency - you know how deals work, not just how content looks.
- You've launched a consumer product before and lived to tell the story.
- You know how to work with various AI tools to make yourself more productive.
Why This
You'd be shaping the voice of a product that reveals what people actually think. The content writes itself if you know where to look. And at this stage, "Head of Vibes" isn't a cute title. It's a job description and a mandate.
Small team. Real ownership. No committee. No brand police. Just you, the culture, and a product that was built to go viral the moment someone understands it.
