Graphics Intern
Our prestigious nonprofit, https://ChangingThePresent.org, offers outstanding
Graphics internships.
What you’ll do:
• Design and produce digital assets for public-facing promotions and targeted audiences: website graphics, banners, social creatives, email/header images, and lightweight landing-page visuals.
• Create some print-ready materials when needed (flyers, one-pagers, simple signage), ensuring correct sizing, margins, and export formats.
• Use template-driven design to scale output: create reusable layouts, style systems, and variants that keep the brand consistent across many campaigns.
• Support “data-merged” creative production (e.g., generating many versions of a banner/flyer for different audiences, partners, or programs) using tools like Canva and automated design platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, comms, and project leads to turn rough briefs into clean deliverables with clear calls-to-action and measurable goals.
• Manage assets professionally: naming conventions, versioning, organized libraries, and documented guidelines so the team can reuse what you build.
• Work in a professional workflow: teams, shared tools, Kanban tickets, clear deliverables, and regular mentor check-ins.
Project tracks (you’ll be placed into 1 or more tracks):
• Web & UI Graphics (site visuals, iconography, simple UI components, visual polish for pages and flows)
• Template Systems & Brand Consistency (design systems for repeatable output,
typography/color standards, reusable components)
• Print & Collateral (flyers, one-pagers, program materials, print-ready exports and layout hygiene)
• Automated Creative / Data Merge (high-volume variant generation for specific
audiences using templates and automation tools)
• Prototype & UX Mockups (lightweight page mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate layouts and user flows)
