Workshop Assistant
Part-Time – Haverford, PA – 3–4 Days Per Week
About the Role
We are looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our team in Haverford, PA. This is a hands-on role within a small, detail-oriented luxury environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with small tools and metal — a background in jewellery making or a genuine interest in what we do is a strong advantage.
We will provide a structured training programme. Compensation begins at $20 per hour and increases to $35–$40 per hour based on progression and skill development within the programme.
Responsibilities
- Carry out workshop tasks as assigned, working with small hand tools and metal materials
- Maintain accurate inventory counts with care and consistency
- Assist with packing and shipping as needed
- Follow established processes and contribute to a well-organised workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience with small tools and working with metal; jewellery experience is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to every task
- Persistent and reliable — someone who takes pride in doing things properly
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement during training
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work comfortably with hand tools throughout the shift
Compensation
Starting at $20 per hour, with a clear progression path to $35–$40 per hour based on training milestones and demonstrated skill.
