Marketing & Outreach Intern

Overview

Location: In-person / Local Clinics Duration: 4 months (internship) Hours: Part-time (10–20 hrs/week)

Compensation: Internship credit + hourly rate

About Us

Little Scholars Services provides evidence-based behavioral and mental health services for children and families, with a focus on neurodiverse populations. We partner with clinics, schools, and community providers to build strong referral pipelines and expand access to care.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Outreach Intern currently enrolled in an undergraduate program to support community-facing outreach efforts. This role is highly interactive and ideal for students interested in healthcare marketing, community relations, psychology, social work, or business.

You will represent our organization by visiting clinics and community providers to introduce our team, share service information, and help establish professional referral relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person outreach to clinics, pediatric offices, therapy practices, and community providers
  • Introduce Little Scholars Services and communicate our service offerings clearly and professionally
  • Support relationship-building to generate referral pipeline leads
  • Track outreach activity, contacts, and follow-ups in a shared system
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging and strategy
  • Gather feedback from clinics to inform marketing and partnership efforts

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/grad program (Marketing, Business, Communications, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or related field preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with in-person professional outreach
  • Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Interest in healthcare, behavioral health, or community-based services is a plus
