CES Mobile Unit Specialist

The CES Mobile Unit Specialist is a high-impact, field-based role designed to reach our most vulnerable members. You are the "boots on the ground" for our outreach team. When our contact center is unable to reach a member via phone, you will travel to their residence to facilitate a live connection. Your primary goal is to bridge the communication gap, ensuring members can access their healthcare benefits and speak directly with our support team.

This is a Hybrid 1099/Contractor position that offers a performance-based "pay-per-diem" structure, rewarding both successful outcomes and diligent effort.

Key Responsibilities

Field Outreach: Travel to the homes of members who have been identified as "unreachable" via traditional telephonic methods.

Live Connection Facilitation: Once contact is made, you will use a mobile device to successfully connect the member to our internal Contact Center/Support Team in real-time.

Verification of Contact: For unsuccessful visits, you must provide documented proof of the attempt (e.g., GPS check-in, photo of the residence, or a "door hanger" log) to verify the outreach effort.

Member Advocacy: Represent the organization with professionalism and empathy, explaining the importance of the connection and helping the member feel comfortable engaging with the call center.

Reporting: Maintain an accurate daily log of successful connections and attempted visits for payroll and clinical tracking.

Compensation Structure (1099 Contractor)

This role operates on a productivity-based pay model, allowing for high earning potential based on your volume of visits:

Action

Compensation

Successful Connection

$68.00 per member connected to the center

Attempted Visit (Unsuccessful)

$17.00 per documented visit (proof required)

Travel Stipend

$75.00 paid every 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

Mobility: Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.

Tech Savvy: Ability to use a tablet to facilitate calls and log GPS-verified visits.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly at the door.

Self-Management: Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision in the field.

Experience: Prior experience in door-to-door outreach, census work, social work, or community health is a significant plus.

Important Employment Terms

Note: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. You are responsible for your own vehicle maintenance. Compensation is strictly per-visit/per-connection as outlined above.
