Early Childhood Art Teacher
braham Joshua Heschel School seeks a full-time early childhood & lower school (Grades preschool-5) art teacher to begin in the fall of 2026.
The art teacher will work in collaboration with other early childhood & lower school art teachers as well as other faculty members as needed.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (a master’s degree is preferred)
- Experience working with a variety of materials, including paint, clay, collage, drawing, and construction
- Experience / desire to work with other art teacher (s) in a shared space
- Passion for teaching young children
- An understanding of stages of child development to foster growth and learning
- An appreciation for cultivating the artistic process
