About BrightCore Academy 
BrightCore Academy is an after-school enrichment program offering hands-on learning experiences for kids and teens, ages 5–17. Through robotics, STEM, videography, public speaking, leadership and creative technology, we help students build confidence, critical thinking, and real-world skills in a fun, engaging environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking part-time Instructors to teach subjects and lead engaging, hands-on workshops for young learners. This role is ideal for someone interested in education, creativity, STEM, and working directly with kids in a fun, fast-paced, interactive environment. 

Subjects include:

  • Robotics
  • Coding 
  • Leadership 
  • Videography
  • Public Speaking 
  • Chess
  • Rubik's Cube
  • Mental Arithmetic 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and/or teach relevant subjects as a class/workshop/presentation for kids and teens, ages 5–17
  • Lead small group activities and guide students through hands-on projects
  • Set up, organize, and manage classroom materials (robotics kits, tablets, supplies, etc.)
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and structured learning environment
  • Manage student behavior and keep students engaged and on task
  • Provide feedback to improve curriculum and overall student experience

Required Skills

  • Ability to engage and work effectively with young children and/or teens
  • Basic problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability and ability to think on your feet in a classroom setting
  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university
  • Passion for working with children and teens and supporting their learning and development
  • Availability for after-school hours and/or weekends
  • Reliable transportation to program locations
  • Willingness to complete a background check, as required by law for all individuals working with minors
