Teach Math: Masters Degree Residency
Want to use your math skills to make a real impact? The PEF Teacher Residency prepares aspiring educators to teach secondary math while earning licensure and a master’s degree through a year-long, mentored classroom experience.
Position Description
The PEF Teacher Residency is a full-year, in-school experience designed to prepare you to become a high-impact secondary mathematics teacher.
Residents work alongside an experienced mentor teacher while completing graduate coursework toward licensure and a master’s degree. Throughout the year, you’ll receive weekly coaching, practice real teaching, and build the skills needed to lead your own classroom.
This program is intentionally designed for candidates who did not major in education but have strong math or analytical backgrounds.

Commitment
Residents commit to teaching for four years in partner schools following program completion.
