A professional part-time social media coordinator for an event design and production company acts as the brand’s digital storyteller, capturing high-end event aesthetics and behind-the-scenes transformations to engage clients and industry partners. This role requires a balance of creative production and strategic community management.
Requirements:
- Proven graphic design experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other Content
- familiarity with design software and technologies
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Flexible Schedule: Typically 15–25 hours per week, with potential for full time pending experience in graphic design and rendering creation.
There is a requirement for weekend and evening availability during live events.
Hybrid Nature: A Blend of remote planning/editing and on-site content collection at various event venues & Locations.
Physical Requirements: Ability to remain on your feet for extended shifts while capturing content at large-scale venues.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production: Capture high-quality photo and video content at event sites, including setups, floral/lighting details, and final reveals. Produce platform-optimized short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) with trending audio.
Channel Management: Maintain a consistent brand voice across Instagram, Website, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. Schedule and publish content using tools like Hootsuite or Later.
Community Engagement: Respond to direct messages, comments, and inquiries professionally within set timeframes to foster client relationships.
Strategy & Analytics: Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with upcoming event demand and seasonal trends. Track KPIs like engagement rates and reach to optimize future content.
Event-Day Coverage: Attend live events to capture “behind the scenes” & "in-the-moment" content and provide live social updates.
Professional Skills & Qualifications
Visual Expertise: Strong eye for composition and event design aesthetics; proficiency in mobile editing apps (e.g., CapCut, Lightroom) or desktop suites like Adobe Creative Cloud.
Communication: Excellent copywriting skills for crafting engaging captions and professional responses to high-end clients.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Meta Business Suite and basic SEO principles to increase brand visibility.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of event production terminology and local industry trends is preferred.
