Server Assistant

Job Summary 

The server assistant is responsible for setting and clearing tables in the restaurant and ensuring a clean and tidy environment for restaurants patrons and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
• Place tableware and condiments on table
• Serve water upon arrival, refill water for the duration of members stays
• Remove dirty dishes, utensils, glassware and replenish as necessary
• Clean and reset tables after guests’ departure

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience required
• Possess an outgoing, friendly, professional personality
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional 
• Highly energetic, self-starter, hands-on approach to hospitality/service with the ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast paced, event-driven environment
• Able to provide excellent communication skills at all levels. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Proof of Food Handlers Card Required
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to clear a criminal background check
