Part-Time 2D Animation Instructor (San Francisco) - Beginner Level | Open to Students!
Learn2Code.Live offers hands-on, creative technology programs for K–12 students in an in-person classroom setting. We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time 2D Animation Instructors to lead after-school classes in San Francisco.
This role is well-suited for college students, recent graduates, or aspiring educators with an interest in animation, digital arts, or creative technology. A ready-to-use curriculum and lesson plans are provided, allowing you to focus on engaging and inspiring students.
Program Details
- Course: 2D Animation
- Grade Level: TK–5
- Location: Florida (school-based, in-person)
- Program Dates: April–May
- Schedule Options:
- Mondays, 3:15–5:15 PM
What You’ll Do
- Teach 2D Animation using provided curriculum and lesson plans
- Lead fun, project-based lessons introducing animation fundamentals
- Guide students in creating and refining their own animation projects
- Adapt instruction to different grade levels and learning needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate professionally with school staff and the Learn2Code.Live team
Ideal Candidates
- Familiarity with 2D animation tools and basic design principles
- Students, recent graduates, or graduates in animation, digital arts, computer science, education, or related fields
- Patient, enthusiastic, and comfortable working with K–8 students
- Reliable, organized, and confident leading small groups
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable using technology and basic troubleshooting
