What You’ll Do (and Learn!)

The Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA position is to provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. It is responsible for collaborating with the supervising therapist regarding the patient’s plan of care, patient performance, response to treatment, and any other pertinent information.

You will:

  • Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all therapy.
  • Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
  • Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff.
  • Provide clinical documentation
  • Create positive resident outcomes.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Students completing an associate degree program in physical therapy from an accredited PTA program
  • NC‑licensed PTA (or eligibility upon graduation)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commitment to dignity, respect, and high‑quality patient care
  • Interest in long‑term care, geriatrics, and meaningful patient relationships

Long‑term care experience is a plus, but not required. We love growing new grads into confident, compassionate clinicians.
