Post Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Residency
Altoona VA Post Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Residency (PB-RNR)
Join the exceptional team at the Altoona VA!
The PB-RNR Residency Program is a comprehensive 12-monthsupportive program for new graduates. The residency helps recent nurse graduates transition from the classroom to clinical practice. The program is an opportunity for graduates to hone critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making skills. Residents have opportunities to spend time on several different clinical units throughout the facility, attend weekly engaging didactic sessions, complete an evidence-based practice/quality improvement project and learn about veteran-centric healthcare while providing care to our nation’s Veterans!
The PB-RNR residents receive a salary, vacation and sick time and are eligible for healthcare benefits.
