Position Overview

FOX 21 is seeking driven, curious, and creative interns to join our newsroom team.  This internship offers hands‑on experience in a professional broadcast environment. Interns will work directly with reporters, anchors, photographers, meteorologist, production crew and other members of the team to learn the full scope of local news production.

This internship will give a broad high-level understanding off all aspects of a newsroom.  Then focusing on the passion and interests that you had coming into the internship or ones that you developed in your time of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (journalism, communications, media studies, or related field preferred)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
• Availability to work up to 30-hours per week
