Project Engineer Intern- Commercial

Wharton-Smith, Inc., a highly regarded construction company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer – Intern position. This position is located at our office in Jacksonville, FL.
 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Complete assigned tasks by the Intern Program Manager such as: Submittal Review for compliance with Construction Document specifications.
• Review various Tracking Logs and numerical worksheets for errors, context and compliance.
• Construction estimating task assistance.
• Coordination and communication with trade partners, design team and and other Wharton Smith team members.
• Physically visiting construction projects for observations and progress update.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Bluebeam
• CAD

Qualifications:

• One year of college.
• Good standing with college course work.
