HR Generalist
Position Overview:
The HR Generalist supports the execution of core HR processes while building foundational experience to grow into a full HRBP role. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on data management, onboarding, and employee lifecycle support, combined with exposure to broader HR generalist activities.
This position requires a proactive, self-driven individual who can operate independently, take ownership of their work, and go beyond basic task execution to identify issues and drive solutions.
As the HR Generalist you will:
- Maintain accurate employee data in Oracle HCM, including new hires, job changes, and terminations
- Perform regular data audits and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
- Support HRIS Manager with system transactions, reporting, and process improvements
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and timely experience
- Coordinate and track background checks and pre-employment requirements
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to ensure readiness for new hires
- Process employee changes (promotions, transfers, compensation updates) with accuracy and speed
- Support offboarding processes and documentation
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and practical support
- Partner with HRBPs on day-to-day needs and employee-related matters
- Support key HR cycles (merit, promotions, etc.) including data preparation and tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required
- 0–3 years of relevant HR experience (internships or entry-level roles acceptable)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience working with HR systems (Oracle HCM preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Clear communication skills
- Demonstrated potential and interest in growing into an HR Business Partner role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive mindset, does not wait for detailed instructions; takes initiative and follows through
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Curious and solution-oriented; raises issues and suggests improvements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
