Internship Position Description

Title: PROCEDEO Intern
Location: Canutillo Independent School District- Bond 2024
Duration: Contingent Upon Workload
Reports To: Program Director 

Position Overview

The PROCEDEO Internship Program is designed to provide emerging professionals with hands-on experience across multiple facets of consulting, operations, and project delivery. Interns will gain exposure to business development, marketing strategy, organizational leadership, personnel management, company operations, project management, and an introduction to construction management within a dynamic and mission-driven environment.

This internship is ideal for individuals interested in consulting, education, construction, or business operations who are eager to develop a well-rounded professional skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Support research and identification of prospective clients and partnership opportunities
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and qualifications packages
  • Participate in strategy discussions related to market growth and client engagement

Marketing & Communications

  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including social media content, newsletters, and promotional assets
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across platforms
  • Support planning and coordination of outreach campaigns and events

Organizational Leadership

  • Observe and engage in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions
  • Assist in documenting organizational processes and initiatives
  • Support internal initiatives that strengthen culture, alignment, and performance

Personnel Management Exposure

  • Assist with internal team coordination and communication efforts
  • Support onboarding materials and documentation for staff development
  • Participate in discussions around team structure and workforce planning

Company Operations

  • Provide support in day-to-day operational tasks and process improvement efforts
  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators and organizational metrics
  • Contribute to internal documentation and workflow optimization

Project Management

  • Support project teams with scheduling, documentation, and coordination
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up action items
  • Track project milestones and support reporting efforts

Introduction to Construction Management

  • Gain exposure to construction project lifecycle phases (planning, design, procurement, construction)
  • Assist with document review, coordination, and basic project tracking
  • Observe project meetings and site-related discussions (when applicable)

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, participants will:

  • Develop a foundational understanding of consulting and project delivery services
  • Gain practical experience in business operations and strategic growth
  • Build professional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Understand the intersection of education, facilities, and construction management

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Education, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with collaborative tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in consulting, education systems, or construction/facilities planning
  • Previous internship or leadership experience (academic, extracurricular, or professional)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

$23.00 per hour
