Marketing Design Intern

Armand Resource Group, Inc. (ARG) is an industry leader in the design and implementation of civil rights compliance programs supporting small business participation in federally funded transportation, construction, and major capital improvement projects.  ARG provides comprehensive monitoring, reporting, and program management consulting services to public agencies nationwide.

ARG is growing its marketing presence and stakeholder engagement efforts.  This role is ideal for a creative and professional communicator who can produce compelling visual content, strengthen brand identity, and help tell the ARG story to clients, agency partners, and the broader transportation and infrastructure community.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Design visual content: create graphics, infographics, one-pagers, presentations, and digital assets that reflect ARG’s brand identity across print and digital channels
  • Support social media and outreach: draft content calendars, write copy, and design posts for LinkedIn and other professional platforms
  • Produce marketing collateral: assist in developing proposals, capability statements, event materials, and client-facing reports
  • Brand consistency: ensure all deliverables adhere to ARG brand standards (color, typography, tone)
  • Research and reporting: conduct market and competitor research to support business development and outreach strategy
  • Collaborate across teams: work with project managers and leadership to understand program outputs and translate them into accessible, compelling communications
  • Participate in meetings: take notes, track follow-up tasks, and support leadership on administrative communications

Qualifications

  • Enrollment: currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field
  • Design skills: proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent tools such as Canva Pro; a portfolio of design work is required
  • Writing ability: strong written communication skills; experience with copywriting or content creation is a plus
  • Digital fluency: familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic web content management
  • Microsoft Office: proficiency in PowerPoint and Word for branded document production
  • Work style: creative, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
