Important Steps Inc. is an Early Intervention Program (EIP) with 2 locations in Bronx and Midwood Brooklyn. We provide services to children in all 5 NYC boroughs and Long Island

We currently have positions available for monolingual and bilingual SP-ED Teachers, SWs (Social Workers), STs (Speech Therapists), PTs (Physical Therapists), OTs (Occupational Therapists) and COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) in BROOKLYN , STATEN ISLAND , BRONX, QUEENS and MANHATTAN  as well LONG ISLAND. Part-time, full-time, and per-diem positions are available. We offer highly competitive rates for all service providers, up to $85/hr. for hard to staff zip codes. Healthcare benefits are available for full-time employees.

NEW GRADS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! Bilingual (Russian, Uzbek, Urdu, Spanish, French-Creole) is a plus but not required. ST, PT, OT/COTAs positions must have a NYS license in their given field. SP-ED Teachers & SWs (Social Workers) must have the following NYS certifications: - for Teachers: Special Education Teacher (K-12) or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2). - for Social Workers: LMSW or LCSW.
