Speech-Language Pathologist- Clinical Fellow
Job Description
SLP-Clinical Fellows (CFs) will work with a child and their family (parent, caregiver, guardian) in a home or community based setting, and will utilize family coaching and routines based intervention to address delays in communication, speech, and language development.
Early Intervention is a federally funded program serving children and families from birth to three years old. Children are prescribed services from 1 to 5 days a week.
Role and Supervision
Clinical Fellows (CF) may work per diem (for experience only), part time, and full time. CFs will receive guidance and supervision from a Supervisor, including weekly meetings, session review and opportunities for collaboration and continued education.
Supervision may be provided in person or virtually; full time CF's will receive a minimum of three hours/week of direct supervision, part time CF's will receive a minimum of one and half hours of direct supervision/week. CF's are able to choose their preferred location for cases using our interactive map feature, and will be provided with monthly updates regarding hour accumulation as well as resources for continued learning.
