Registered Dental Hygienist

Full-Time/Kenai,Alaska

We are seeking 2 full-time Licensed Registered Dental Hygienists to join our established, patient focused dental practice in Kenai, Alaska. Our long time hygienist will be relocating out of state in late May 2026, and while we are so sad to see her go, we are excited to welcome a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hyginiest to continue exceptional care our patients are accustomed to receiving.

We are seeking a confident, caring, detail-oriented Hygienist who values quality dentistry, patient relationships and being a part of a supportive, team-centered practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who wants to step into an established schedule with a smooth and well planned transition.

Key Respnsibilities

-Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene services, including scaling and polishing.

-Complete thorough patient assessments.

-Capture high quality digital radiographs with patient comfort as a priority.

-Provide clear, personalized oral health education and treatment guidance.

-Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in our PMS Dentrix software.

-Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure complete patient care.

-Adhere to OSHA,HIPAA, and infection control standards.

-Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.

-Ensure a smooth hand off to the front office.

Requirements

-Active Alaska Registered Dental Hygienist license

-Current CPR/BLS certification-If not, will be provided immedietely upon hiring

-Experience with Dentrix/DTX/Dexis/Microsoft software preferred

-Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach

-Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA compliance and clinical documentation standards

-Professional, dependable, and team oriented mindset
