The Oakland Post - Advertising Director

The Advertising Director for The Oakland Post is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing all advertising operations. This role involves reaching out to potential clients who want to advertise at our publication, maintaining strong partnerships, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
 

Responsibilities:
Reach out to prospective clients to secure advertising partnerships
Create and manage advertising contracts
Analyze and apply the ad rate card for pricing and placement
Generate invoices and assist with payment collection
Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief on budgeting and revenue tracking
Respond to client communications in a timely and professional manner
Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction
Review archives for past advertising data
Print and organize necessary documents
Attend weekly meetings to stay aligned with the team
Work closely with the Editor-in-Chief on ad placement and coordination
Train the next Advertising Director
