Two River Pictures is a fast-growing digital media studio producing high-impact news, finance, sports, and lifestyle programming for YouTube and social platforms. Our projects include Wall Street Truth Bombs, an upcoming digital news network, other upcoming channels, branded series, and additional original formats currently in development.
 

We are seeking a full-time Producer–Editor (Preditor) to help package daily content across YouTube and social platforms.

This role is ideal for a digital-first storyteller who understands how to craft compelling video content quickly while optimizing it for performance on YouTube and other platforms.

Role Overview

The Producer–Editor will play a key role in the day-to-day production of video content for multiple Two River Pictures channels. Working closely with producers, hosts, and the digital team, this person will edit high-impact videos designed for YouTube and social media while also helping shape the packaging that drives audience engagement.

This role blends traditional editing skills with the instincts of a producer. Looking for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and how digital audiences consume video.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, producing daily content, and is excited about building digital media brands from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Work closely with producers and hosts to meet daily publishing schedules
• Edit high-quality video content for YouTube and social media platforms
• Cut daily news, commentary, interview, and discussion segments
• Create compelling visual pacing that keeps viewers engaged
• Incorporate graphics, images, clips, and text elements to enhance storytelling
• Optimize edits for YouTube watch time and audience retention

Content Packaging

• Design YouTube thumbnails that attract clicks and align with channel branding
• Write or help craft video titles and descriptions optimized for discoverability
• Prepare final video packages ready for upload and distribution\
   

Digital Optimization

• Format videos for multiple platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other vertical video formats
• Cut short-form clips and highlights from longer videos
• Help identify standout moments that can perform well as social content

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively curious. Looking for someone who enjoys shaping raw footage into compelling stories and understands what makes digital video succeed.
 

You should be comfortable producing content at a daily cadence while maintaining high editorial standards.
 

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of video editing experience
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proficiency motion graphics (After Effects or similar tools)
• Experience editing content specifically for YouTube and social media platforms
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high production quality
• Familiarity with thumbnail creation and YouTube packaging
• Experience creating short-form vertical video for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms
• Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced digital production environment

Bonus Skills

• Experience working in news, commentary, or documentary-style video
