ENGINEER
Position Description:
- Provides complex engineering services and supervisory assistance as necessary for large scale projects and assignments. Maintains a detailed understanding of generating station equipment, systems, operations, and directs or participates in execution of projects/performance testing. Provides necessary skills to maintain availability and efficiency of station equipment. Also, provides supervision of inexperienced engineering staff, hourly employees, and contractors.
Essential Job Tasks:
- Provides advanced engineering support for safe, reliable, and economic operation of generating units. Designs, plans and coordinates large scale projects from inception through release for in service operation.
- Analyzes highly complex operations and maintenance equipment problems and recommends solutions. Assists Operations, Maintenance and Technical Services departments by providing engineering support and supervision.
- Provide or perform occasional capital or construction engineering services for generating plant equipment and processes.
- Perform/direct inspections of various station equipment, document condition and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, monitor/trend data to recommend corrective measures to equipment.
- Coordinate, conduct and provide support for equipment performance tests (turbine enthalpy drop, pulverizer, air heater, condenser, etc.)
- Provide administrative departmental assistance including procurement of materials and services, work identification and planning, budget preparation and reporting, training and development of employees, and safety and operational procedural updates.
- Provide effective technical communications in and across departments by attendance of meetings and presentations, submittal of reports, and other correspondence as required.
- Monitors PM programs, oil analysis, vibration data, alignment procedures and instrumentation calibrations to ensure equipment reliability.

Position Requirements:
Sr. Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university or college +8 years experience required.
- PE license required.
Compensation Information:
$104,620 -$130,770 (min. - mid.)
Engineer III
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university or college +5 years experience required.
- FE license required.
Compensation Information:
$93,830 -$117,290 (min. - mid.)
Engineer II
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university or college +2 years experience required.
- FE license preferred.
Compensation Information:
$84,180 -$105,210 (min. - mid.)
Engineer I
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university or college required.
- FE license preferred.
Compensation Information:
$75,500 - $94,350 (min. - mid.)
