Administrative Secretary

Title: Administrative Secretary / Enrollment Director 

Job Description: 

Come and join a growing team and work fir a company that values professional development and encourages open communication! Living Word Church and Living Word ELC is seeking an Administrative Secretary for a very active church off, multi-staff setting. 

*Full time - Monday-Friday 

*35-40 Hours a week 

*Hours could Vary based on Center needs 

As the Administrative Secretary / Enrollment Director at LWC/ELC you will be expected to assist the church and early learning center, (which includes but is not limited to):
 

*Assisting the pastoral staff with general secretarial duties

*Assisting the Center Director in managing daily operations 

*Support floater and on call sub for the ELC

*complete any task given by the Pastor or Center Director 

*Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and positive learning environment on a daily basis. 
* Perform administrative duties for the ELC and Church including enrollment, tuition, assist director in maintaining staff and child files, state licensing maintenance and regulation/policy compliance. 

*scheduling interviews/ tour and appointments for church and ELC staff 

*Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

*Drafting Documents and entering data 

*Prepare and maintain mailing/emailing list for church and center 

*Manage email and respond in a timely manner 

*Welcome and direct visitors 

*Submit payroll and other billing information to our accountants weekly 

*monitor office/ELC supplies and order replacements 

*Direct internal and external calls/emails to correct staff members 

*prepare facilities and arrange refreshments for events if required 

*Handle and record church/ELC deposits weekly 

*Responsible for paying church bills, writing checks, payroll, church bookkeeping and disbursement of church funds in cooperation with pastoral staff 

*sort incoming mail 

*Record deposits and individual record of contributions 

*scheduling and following church and ELC policy regarding building usage and key check out 

*Itemize receipts and file paperwork 

*Update website and church/ELC social media as needed 

*Update ELC files as needed 

*Meet with staff, church members, parents of enrolled ELC children or tours, and administration to provide excellent customer service. 

*substitute in the classroom as needed between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. 

* Develop and build positive rapport and professional relationships 

*Ensure safety and health of children by providing a consistent, positive and caring environment to children in care

*Attend and participate in meetings, professional conferences, lectures and workshops

*Assist with new staff orientations

*Assist in maintaining office area and cleaning duties as needed, ensure the front office is clean and tidy each week
