Job Description
The Graphic Design Intern will support the design team in creating high-quality content for the brands they represent. They will assist with the implementation of creative ideas that help improve the customer experience and drive website traffic. This role offers hands-on experience in social media content creation, email design, and basic website content design. The intern will learn to use the Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging graphics that support our digital marketing efforts.
Job Duties
- Assist in creating platform-specific graphic content that aligns with company branding.
- Support the creation of lifestyle posts for social media platforms like Instagram & Facebook and assist with advertisement graphics.
- Assist in creating email and web content, gaining exposure to basic UI/UX principles.
- Learn to use market and platform knowledge to assist in writing creative content descriptions for graphics.
- Help monitor market trends to inform graphic content strategies.
- Assist in prioritizing and completing design projects, learning to manage deadlines.
- Learn to track and report basic graphic metrics.
- Assist the team with general graphic design tasks and continuous improvements to the customer experience.
- Creatively assist in the development and brainstorming of Enterprise brands and promotions.
- Support the design team in developing new brand elements (logos, colors, tone).
- Assist in organizing and coordinating digital assets for email campaigns and digital marketing uses.
- Shadow and support the team in effective verbal and written communication of design ideas.
- Assist with moderate-level website/UX design tasks, focusing on layout, typography, and spacing.
- Assist with moderate-level branded product design tasks, including creating mock-ups.
- Support the process of project workflow: Planning, Creation, Editing, Scheduling/Posting to Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign) or a strong willingness to learn
- Collaboration Skills
- A focus on the customer/client experience
- Basic organizational skills
- Interest in Marketing/Digital Media
- Willingness to learn Project Management and Time Management
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree program in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- Prior coursework or portfolio showing graphic design work.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- 12 week summer internship: June 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026
Expectations
- Location: Onsite; Wrightstown, WI
- Track your own hours both honestly and accurately.
Travel
- Expect to travel out of state for 2–4 shows during the summer season
