Entry Level Account Manager

As an Entry Level Account Manager, you’ll help discover how AT&T’s full suite of solutions, Fiber internet, reliable wireless, home phone, and smart entertainment options can simplify and elevate their lives. The Entry Level Account Manager researches prospects, initiates warm, value-driven conversations, and builds a pipeline that empowers account teams to deliver the right fit, every time.
Core Responsibilities of the Entry Level Account Manager
- Generate new leads by prospecting through calls, emails, networking, and sales campaigns to connect with customers.
- Qualify opportunities by researching customer needs, assessing fit for AT&T’s wireless, internet, and bundled solutions, and passing qualified leads to account executives.
- Strengthen team performance by collaborating with peers, sharing prospecting strategies, and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Elevate customer engagement by clearly explaining AT&T’s offerings, answering product questions, and guiding households toward the right solutions.
- Track and analyze metrics by documenting interactions in CRM systems, reviewing lead conversion data, and identifying opportunities to improve outreach.
- Advance expertise through ongoing training in sales development, customer relationship management, and emerging telecom technology trends.
Qualifications of the Entry Level Account Manager:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, marketing, or communications is preferred.
- Experience in customer support, retail, or sales, especially in wireless or tech is highly valued.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and digital tools to manage leads, monitor campaign performance, and streamline workflows.
- Builds trust easily through honest communication and genuine care.
