Sports Content Intern

Sports Content Creation Internship: 

In this role, you will be expected to come up with your own story ideas on a regular basis. This may include fact-based reporting pieces, opinion pieces, breaking news, interviews, analysis, etc. You are encouraged to use this platform to build a writing portfolio and to explore different styles of writing. 

Your responsibilities: 

Produce content regularly (weekly publishing amount will be determined between the intern and their supervisor) 

Collaborate with other writers to determine who covers what in terms of breaking news and major leagues 

Learn your style of writing/content creation

Learn interview skills 

Hone your editorial and journalistic skills 

Qualifications: 

Current student or recent graduate 

Relevant degree

Familiarity with WordPress or similar platforms 

Keen sense of spelling, grammar, English language 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Interns are highly encouraged to dabble in other departments during their time with Vendetta
